Why We Put “Love” in the Ingredients
You’ll see it on every Lunamor’s Larder label: peppers, fruit, salt… and “love.”
Is it hokey? Maybe. But it’s real.
Our “love” is in the long hours spent tasting, tweaking, and testing. It’s in the way we support local growers, stay up late labeling bottles by hand, and reply to every message from a curious customer. It’s in the boldness of every flavor drop, in the careful record-keeping to keep you safe, and in our neurodivergent-driven approach to structure and creativity.
“Love” means sourcing the freshest seasonal fruit even if it costs more. It means refusing to compromise on flavor or safety. It’s turning sauce-making from a task into a ritual—checking the fermentation, jotting notes in a well-worn notebook, and making sure every bottle meets our standards before it meets your plate.
It also means community. Love is in the feedback we receive, the hockey teammates who taste-test new blends, and the customers who DM us their favorite food pairings. It’s what keeps us small, scrappy, and deeply proud.
Putting “love” on the label is our shorthand for saying: this wasn’t churned out in a factory. It was crafted with care, community, and a bit of rebellious joy.
